It is understood that the village dates back to the period of the historical Bergama Kingdom and the name Tarhala was changed into Darkale during the time of the Seljuks. Darkale was built on the set reminding one of the 19th century Ottoman Period and is one of the places that is worth seeing on account of its scenic houses , narrow streets, Kırkoluk Mosque, Minereli Mosque, Bedesten (Ottoman covered bazaar) and hammam. |
