There is no definite information regarding the construction of the inn. It is said that it was built by Karaosmanoğulları between 1825-1830. The inn has a backyard in the middle and is of two floors. There are adjacent stores in its eastern, southern and western facades. It has a rectangular plan in the direction of east to west. The rooms downstairs open out to the backyard and the ones upstairs opens out to the porticos. There is no entrance in the southern facade. The corridor in the northwest is the passage corridor facilitating the connection to the barns. The stores downstairs are divided into two with a wall. It can be said that the downstairs rooms were used as storages due to the fact that they were of two sections and there were cookers in them. The front of the second floor stores are circulated with porticos having round arches. There are totally 33 stores upstairs being 8 of them in the northern facade, 7of them in each of the eastern, western and southern facades. All the rooms except for very few of them have cookers. The restoration works that started in 2001 and ended in 2004 were made in compliance with the restoration project and the origin of the structure. At present, Yeni Han is used as a shopping and culture center. In compliance with the needs of the current usage passages have been provided between certain parts.
